Past

To continue on to the old Imperfect Unity, please click here. Be warned that a lot of the information and such up there is out of date, and quite a few links have died... I reccommend reading the rest of this page for updates on my current situation first.

Present

You've found the home of the website previously known as Imperfect Unity. Construction has begun on A Dreamer's Lies, my new art/rant site to replace the old IU. You can find that over here; there's nothing really up now, but I'm in love with the layout. Please excuse the fact that this page looks pretty bad at the moment (I've never used this background like this before. I had no idea it looked so... X-ish and stripey. o.o; ); this is just my 'temporary home'--though I suppose it'll be made into a permanent home eventually--until I get things into order.

You're much more likely to find me at deviantArt or Gaia these days.

Future

As I said, what was previously known as Imperfect Unity shall become A Dreamer's Lies. Why? Because Imperfect Unity is the name of a story now. Thus, I plan to make a website for the story and call THAT one Imperfect Unity. In fact, three sub-sites are currently planned. ADL, for my artwork and rants and other personal stuffs. Imperfect Unity, for the story. And something else currently unnamed for graphics and dolls and such. I might name the collective something else, and I might look into getting a new host too, and maybe even a domain name. Bravenet gets a bit annoying.

General Information

In the off chance that you managed to stumble upon this without getting a direct link from me, I suppose I should include a bit of information. I'm Kura, and this is my little personal website. It's where I keep my art and rants and all of that sort of thing. Note that the information about me in the old IU is pretty outdated.

Random Linkage

30 Seconds to Mars... incredible band (alternative rock). You should really go check them out. Above is my absolute favorite performance that I've seen from them. To hear/watch more from them, visit their website or Myspace. They won the 2006 MTV2 VMA award, by the way.
Provehito in Altum!

Please visit this site as often as you'd like; every pageview helps get money donated for preventing hunger, illiteracy, and plenty of other things.

On my site quite a while ago, I had a page of links that included some to "worthy sites" that I really loved and thought other people should check out. At least a few of the links are dead now, but two wonderful sites--two character shrines, actually--are now up again in different locations.

First we have BlueSkies. Wonderful, wonderful website about Fay D. Flourite of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, with lots of writing and speculation and pretty pictures. And adoptable Big Kitty and Little Kitty and such.

We also have Heavenfall, a site for Kratos Aurion of Tales of Symphonia. It's still in the process of being recreated, but it should be great once everything is up again. The structure is all laid out, and look, there's even a page about tomatoes!

Credits

The shiny image at the top was created by me, as was the background. No use without asking, but feel free to ask. Credits for the pictures used to make them are at the bottom, as they're quite lengthy. The dialogue on the top image is from Shakespeare's famous play Romeo and Juliet, and was (if I remember correctly) copied from this wonderful site. The title of the page is a bit of lyrics from the song Was it a Dream? by 30 Seconds to Mars. I am in no way affiliated with the video here either; I only copied it on, and it's uploader can be found by clicking 'share'.

Picture credits: The butterfly used in the image was a Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 tube; the photo used to make the background was, when found, the main example image for "star" on the English-language Wikipedia (that place is amazing). It was taken by NASA and is most likely in the public domain (apparently, NASA images are in the public domain 'unless otherwise stated'). As for the image of the flower used, it was found quite a while ago in the stock section of deviantArt. It was originally used in something that was intended for private use only so I didn't worry about giving credit and didn't keep the link. I apologize to the original photographer, whoever you are.
